I seem to spend a lot of time over the Christmas period doing quizzes of one form or another. This year the GCHQ one is worth a go if you happen to like your quiz questions on the fiendish side. Anyway I had a Shapeways delivery this morning that contained a couple of test pieces that I thought I'd turn into a mini mystery object quiz. So without further waffle what are these?
Easy Mark they are clamps for something.
ReplyDeleteI guess jigs for rails when making a cross over or point.
Well I have things that look like that that I made to stabilise my extending ladders but I suspect they are a bit smaller than that. To me they look like bending presses.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you tighten it from below, as those are captive bolts... I suspect it is a jig for pointwork, but then the bit needing soldered is covered...I can't figure it out, you have me stumped :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm getting more curious by the day.
